My company is based in the golden hills of Northern California; the weather, water and traffic cause issues that shorten the lifespan of concretes surface. State law requires use of sealer products with lower volatile organic compounds (VOCs). In sunlight, volatile compounds in sealants can cause respiratory problems. Sealants with lower VOCs require annual or bi-annual applications to maintain the concrete’s surface. I recommend properly cleaning before reapplying the sealant to extend the appearance and wear of the concrete.
